Everytime I use an SD card in my blackberry and then out it to windows I get an error saying it isn't recognized, the SD card then becomes scrap, 5 in a row now. two 4 gigs, two 8's and now my 64. This is PISSING me off, I'm so done.

Okay, okay, the SD card works now, but ONLY in the BB, it's not encrypted or anything though.

Have you reformatted the card in your PC first? Before putting it into your phone?

Nope. Bought it and out it straight in the phone.

I have noticed BlackBerry crapping out when formatting both my 32 and 64 GB sd cards for the last few OS updates/leaks. Fortunately I just use my Samsung SG4 to format them and ignore any messages that BB spews out.

Had a similar problem. Downloaded SD formatter on my PC and formatted my card using this program. Solved my problem.

Are you using a card reader? I ruined a few sdcards by plugging them into a usb card reader.

I received the Sony 64GB card today and saw it downloaded some drivers on the BlackBerry before it formatted it.
The BlackBerry formatted it to exFat.

Problem I have is that I can no longer access the SD card through wifi like I could my previous 32GB Sandisk that was Fat32.
Only allows me to access the device files through wifi and when I pop in my old 32GB card, it works fine again.

EDIT: by restarting phone with card inside, It did a proper scan for media files and now the sharing works over network from the Xbox 360, but still no luck over Windows 7. I can access the device memory, but not the 64GB card like I could my old 32GB one.

    Fixed!

EDIT: Got a small OS update today. Just ignored it at first since the OS version didn't change. Just thought it was some carrier settings or something.
And it turns out that I can now access the exFat formatted 64GB card through wifi!
