I think I read that Flash was no longer in the plans which is fine with me but any plans to at least remove/filter those videos/ads that show up in the browser saying "upgrade flash" or "flash not supported". Very annoying considering it takes at least 1/4 of the screens phone (more on my q5). Has there been any announcements/plans to dela with this??

mobile support and flash are dead, however the web is still mainly flash so there is no fix for this. there are 3rd party android browsers that do support flash still flashfox as the one that i used when i needed it.

Do a search for the flashbrowser. It creates a flash browser out of the native browser.

BlackBerry cannot do anything for those messages. The websites are responsible for those. It seems that those sites do not take you to their mobile site or do not have a mobile site.

I would suggest trying another browser and changing the user agent to iPhone. Here is a free browser that you can test those sites with:

Check out Browse in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/39594935

(You will have to change the user agent in the settings.)

Really? It's up to BlackBerry to regulate the internet and make sites stop using Flash so you don't see the Uppdate flash popups?

Huh? Thats not what I wrote. Perhaps the native browser with a built in filter is what I meant. Nothing fancy and easy fix. Regulate the internet haaaaa wtf!
