    I still mean the static icon on the home screen, I just took notice of. Been a BB10 user for a couple years and familiar with the alarm clock function

    No special purpose, rather standard hands setting for watch and clocks for display.

    The hands may have been set this way on BlackBerry OS 7. Hard to find images, but I saw one on Google where it was this 10:10

    Check out Rolex or Omega website or web images for hand position on their watch faces, and other brands as well.
