Hey all, for those who are new or haven't updated to 10.3.3, you maybe experiencing more and more websites that stops working or responding, freezing your browser or other. I have been trying many Browsers including Chrome but have read in this Forum that Firefox is an excellent solution. I went to Aptoide and got it there (latest version) and it works very well for the sites I have issues with.

I just thought since this is becoming a larger issue I would make this post for the many who would become frustrated as I was considering I purchased a backup Passport and got a shock when our last resort for apps was the web and that was falling apart lol. Well here ya go another work around for the BlackBerry faithful.

    Enjoy

Thanks for an alternative, but I am done running Android apps on my Q10. Too many issues. Hopefully this helps others though.

Never had any real problem with the browser. Especially with this http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/59999147 and an ad blocker. Otherwise there's always Browsie. Android apps might be fairly quick on the Passport, but otherwise they crawl.

Not often but it happens. Espn now freezes almost every time I use it. There are Web pages I cannot login to either.

Well google+ is now a problem even for browsie, Zeus and Chrome is deathly slow. I know there will be Many more to follow in 2017
Just tried to check the Rogers Wireless website and it's messed up. Can't see the phone section.

Firefox will work for the sites you can't view properly and still using the Native browser for the general web

No, that's only for sites with certificate issues (i.e. Let's Encrypt). Other failings of the browser aren't fixed.

Hello all, I just found something new and had to share. Lots of people and experts have suggested using Browsie Browser numerous times and I had insisted that FireFox worked best for some sites. Well with the default settings that bay be true but today I dug deeper into Browsie Browser and discovered why it was recommended so.

    Browsie Browser
If you go into settings / Display and Actions / User Agent you will get to choose you Desktop User Agent. I chose FireFox and it works excellent for sites like Google+ and such.

I don't know why people who have suggested Browsie did not mention why or how to configure. No one would think initially to try this without a mention. Anyway I hope this helps many to enjoy quicker browsing on their BB10 devices.

    Long live the Passport!
