Apps (both native and android) keep crashing and lagging. The OS as a whole lags and freezes. Performance is 0, can't be called a "productive" device at all. And sometimes, out of the blue, it decides not to read my SD card, and there's really nothing I can do about it. I finally understand why people hate BlackBerry, and even though they haven't tried it, they are right. I feel sad for saying this, but I really regret buying it/them (now using Z30, used a Q10 before it). The design is fine, the specs are fine, it's just the OS is not very optimised for the hardware. Maybe it's just that my phone aged and I'm complaining now... but passport users have been experiencing lots of crap with their devices as well.

I use IOS and Windows mobile but BB10 is still my favorite OS. Andriod apps load a bit slow on my Q5, but otherwise it all works very well.

    My BB10 experience was never that bad. And I've used 2 Z10s, 1 Q5, 3 Q10s, and 2 Z30s.

I don't think that my experience was bad at all times, I'm sure I enjoyed it earlier. It's just that recently, it became SO bad. I can hardly bear with it. I take deep breaths before considering to throw it against the wall or smashing it with a hammer. I did throw my Q10 to the ground, which led to a broken screen, so I don't want this to happen to my Z30 (I really want to, but I don't wanna remain phoneless).

But I'm pretty sure iOS is smoother... no?

I love BB10! It's fluid and all the apps I use function fine. Have you ever considered user error?

Are you running leaks? If you have stuck with ota its unlikely to be user error.

My z10 use to be laggy but mostly when I'm using android apps. If you compare hardware you will notice that every body else have twice the hardware compare to BlackBerry 10. Upgraded to passport to get better hardware not for the keyboard but that one I have begun to love

No problems on my PP. On my mum's PP, things are a bit unstable but she has been running OTA's and leaks for a year now so that might be the culprit. Any OS can get slow or unstable after many OS updates (in whatever form) so that's not a BB10 issue per se. Gonna reset my mum's PP, that'll fix it

I partly agree with you. BB10 is definitely not subject of love. It's just an unfinished OS with tons of bugs and missing features. I would not buy the Classic again.

Hub does not have threaded view so navigating through email conversation is pain. It does not have dark theme, also file manager, device monitor and settings don't. File manager cannot select all files, you need to select them one by one.

NFC support is crap. How to switch on GPS via Nfc trigger?

BBWORLD does not trigger notifications into Hub about updates.

Why the hell is there hardware key? Why not rather @ key?

    I could continue...

Have you tried a factory reset? Have you tried uninstalling apps and seeing if the performance improves? Sure, I had issues with lag and freezing with Android apps, but native apps and BB10 itself were smooth as silk for the most part.

I did a security wipe a while ago and I also formatted the SD. Now the problems are back as before.

I can't lie I have been experiencing these issues as of late, a quick soft reboot does the same trick momentarily. The main culprits are the browser, various android, phone, file Explorer apps. Severest first to last. Crashing only, lag on OS just these apps in particular, will do a full restore soon, just bloody takes took long

I'm on my third BlackBerry 10 device, and I've had anything other than a wonderful experience. The Z10 would restart randomly at times, but that wasn't the OS. I don't use any Android apps.
