Let me clear one thing about iPhone 4. I do own one. The last iOS update it got was iOS 7 in 2013. Yes, many apps require the latest iOS, but Apple allows to download the last compatible version of the app from the App Store (USA) and you will be fine. With that being said, nearly all social networking apps function great on iOS 7. I personally have WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Skype on my iPhone 4: they all work great.

As for the browser on BlackBerry 10. For the last week the browser on my BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition crashes once a day, at least, and my BlackBerry reboots by itself. Something wrong is going on with BlackBerry

I don't have that experience, but I suppose that may be because we use different apps and browse different websites. Almost never have a reboot issue.

BB10 updates are not going to add features. The OS is what it is. For many of us, that's great as it's a mature and stable OS. For many others, it's irrelevant because they see the OS as dead because the Android runtime will not be upgraded and new devices won't be released.

The one issue that I think is legitimate is that, since it's still selling devices, BlackBerry needs to update it's desktop software so that it's supported in Windows 10. The software is required for certain basic functions like reloading the OS and backing up the device.

It does work on Windows 10, if you're having issues after an upgrade you should try to reinstall it. OS updates can sometimes break app/program installations even if they're compatible with the updated OS.

I have this problem and I've done the reinstall several times now and Link will not recognize my device. Pre-Win10 it worked perfectly. Not sure what to do about this at this point.

Are you running Link in win 7 compatibility mode?

Isn't 10.4 required to fulfil contractual obligations? At the very least it's required so that Chen doesn't make himself out to be a liar.

No chance ... they have proved themselves to be a 'take your money and run' outfit ... really hoping this company gets sold off and the good bits taken over by other companies.

It works for many, but BlackBerry says it's not supported, which means yes have no obligation to keep it working or even test it and document issues/fixes. Given that the desktop software is essential for core functions as described, they should either commit to support for Windows 10 or stop selling BB10 phones in 2016, when Windows 10 is the only version available on new computers.

I'm starting to have browser compatibility issues on lots of different websites.

Agree with others that BlackBerry has a duty to update when they are still selling new phones to consumers. The brand image matters for long term profitability.

Do I really need to make a list? In last two days, I've had three websites not work properly. They have had messages that my browser is not supported or is out of date, etc. Also, I can't login to Bovada.lv even if my login info is correct. I have to use Opera but it's buggy, slow and crashes.
