Go to browser, hit the options and go to about. Scroll down to #5 you'll see a thing about how apple/apple Inc. Is not responsible for warranty.
Scroll down right past that! Look at what it says in all CAPS. BB10 browser uses apple components?

Apple contributed to the development of the WebKit browser (albeit, in a very minor manner). The license for WebKit requires that you credit those in the development process.

More accurately, WebKit was developed by the KDE developers. Apple merely added some function calls specific to their platform. You could strip Apple's code out of it and nobody would notice.

Not really. The last few years have been riddled with patent disputes to an obscene level.
In the case of the WebKit browser, if Apple hadn't used an open source browser engine developed by the Linux community, but instead built their own browser... There'd be no way in **** you'd see it used on other platforms.
