    One question regarding leak installation. After the leak gets installed, should I ONLY restore Media and Settings from BB Link...or is it OK to also install Application Data?

    What is exactly in Application Data?

    you can install all you want. It never works for me because LINK is a horrible piece of trash. I have tried each one individually and all at once.

    I guess what I'm trying to understand is whether restoring Application Data would overwrite any newer files that are part of the Leak.

    For example, just installed 1047 over the newly released 10.1 update (my first leak install, btw) and wasn't sure whether to restore the Application Data. One of my Apps (StokLocker) lost all of its data...which I believe might be in Application Data.

    you will lose data for all sideloaded android apps even with backup. Otherwise you wont overwrite anything that you shouldnt

    Have you tried Sachesi to backup and restore? Works just dandy. Has the same 3 options as Link, but is sooo much smoother to use.

    BB10 apps restore from Link is a horrible experience. I interrupted one restore on my Z10 once and after that I am not able restore any apps from then on. Even if I wipe or re-flash the phone.
