    I deletet the bb id online in a web browser

    Now I would like to reset the Q10 but its not working.
    asks for password an nothing happens ...

    background is priv is broken- its not (longer) possibel to switch between bb os and other platforms....
    so I need to create a new bb id

    but the saftey feature bb protect scares me- because it s checked!! when I log in into bb id or bb protect it says no device is

    You must disable or remove the phone from BB Protect 1st... if you are wanting to use it with a different BBID.

    If you deleted the BBID, you are screwed.

    Send to BlackBerry for repair with a proof of purchase.

    waited 2 hours -tried again- and it worked - maybe its because I insert a sim card? dont know.

    So, you deleted your BBID online, executed a wipe of the phone, and then what? Were you not asked to type in the BBID that no longer existed?
