    One of the things I enjoyed about BlackBerry 10 was the Flash advantage in the browser. I could play videos and the odd Facebook game without an app. Now it looks like Adobe is no longer updating mobile Flash and many sites are updating their Flash. It's too bad. This I felt set BlackBerry browser apart from others, especially iOS. Not so much any more. I wonder if BlackBerry can create an update.

    Adobe stopped supporting mobile flash updates a long time ago. I believe BlackBerry has been updating it on their own for quite awhile.

    BlackBerry has a source code license for Flash. They build their own version from Adobes source code.

    They could kill this feature if you ask me.

    Often I have disabled Flash for better performance.

    I understand the performance part. But I still like using it from time to time. That choice is dwindling away.

    Don't expect Flash to an important part of web design in the future.
    It's being fazed out by SVG and HTML 5 technologies that are firstly, standards compliant, fast, cross platform and pretty darn safe.
