Here is something interesting that I haven't seen reported anywhere else:
- BB Z10 Verizon, running on the 1055 build
- installed the following applications from BB World
Skype
eBay
Amazon Kindle
- Installed the 1mobile market APK file recently.
- Restarted the device (unrelated to current situation)

Now I am getting notifications in the HUB from 1mobile that I have 3 apps that can be upgraded to a newer version - the 3 apps I have listed above.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? Where the 1mobile market will prompt for an update to an application that was installed from BB World?
Oddly enough, these 3 apps I have listed all appear to be Android ports and not a true native application.

I look forward to the communities comments on this one.....

Yeah, I got that with the eBay app from BB World. 1Mobile said that there was an update out, and the version number it was telling me to download was higher than the one in BB World. Probably because eBay's an Android port.

This is common behavior. 1mobile sees that the android ports from BlackBerry World are outdated, because they are (check version numbers). I immediately update those apps, to get the new features (with some of them stability improves, others it's hit or miss, so keep that in mind) if you end up not liking the newer version, just delete the 1mobile version and reinstall the BB10 version.

You CANNOT update apps technically from 1mobile. You have to delete the old app first (use device manager due to deleting bug) THEN "update" the app from 1mobile.

Thing is 1mobile will continue to tell you to update it. You have to do your updates and then uninstall/reinstall 1mobile to make 1mobile recognize the apps as current.

Yep I have that for several apps, Skype, Ebay, Kindle, WordPress, and English (a dictionary app) but I kept getting constant notifications (thats now fixed) but a little odd for an update for an app from another source other than BB World

Also if it's a BAR sideloaded, you will get the same update message, which I've gotten for 6 of my apps. However, upon clicking on update, it told me it couldn't because they were not APK files.

Yes I do still have a few done thru sideloading lol

I'm on Verizon and see the exact same issues...haven't tested it much but did update one app successfully. (I'm old and forgot which one, sorry. )
