What are the features in bb 10 os which are not available in other os?
Is apps still a problem in bb 10 os?
Do sideloaded apps work good when sideloaded from SNAP and is amazon app store good enough?

Features like gestures, superior multi-tasking through the home screen, the hub, privacy ...

Depends which apps you are looking for.

    Good enough for me.

OS is great. App situation is not good and getting worse fast.

Android Runtime will be forever stalled at v4.3 Jellybean, and Google Play Services will never be officially available (which is required by more and more Android apps).

Forget that app stuff for a second just as a true OS which would you consider the best right out of the box?

You can not forget the app stuff. Amazon is no solution. Maybe if you live in the USA. So no it is not the best solution.

I think that even Microsoft is more consumer ready. The runtime maybe adequate now but perhaps not in a year or two. No sign of a more current run time.

Let's put it this way: if I had a BB10 device, running an Android M Runtime, with full Google Play Services, and proper Android notifications integrated with the HUB - it would be perfect.

But with BB10 development stopped, and the Runtime forever stalled at Jellybean, I am on board with the Priv. That said, I won't keep my Passport too far out of reach.

    Which part?

Google Play Services will never be on BB10 due to the rules of the OHA.

BlackBerry themselves said that only the CURRENT runtime will be supported in 10.3.3.
