    hey everyone,
Not sure if you guy and gals have noticed this, but it looks like BB has implemented the Anti-theft feature through BB Protect web portal. this feature as many of you know is only available starting with 10.3.2.

Check out the screen shots attached.

If you switch to a device that doesnt have that feature implemented, then the little hand will turn grey and a red circle goes over it.

    Cheers

That's, man. Knew about the feature on the phone, but hadn't seen anything on the site itself.

I selected the tab manage devices and it says that anti theft feature is unavailable, I suppose I need to install 10.3.2.500

Access Protect on the device, it toggles the detection from onsite. I had the same thing happen. Said unavailable until I accessed on the device.

    PS. And yes, requires 10.3.2.500

10.3.2.500 is a must if you want to enable Anti-theft feature. Its not available in 10.3.1

    Hey everyone,
I tested this feature on my test Z30 device and it works like a charm with 10.3.2.798.

I locked the device with password protection, typed in the password 10 times in correct, it wiped the phone and rebooted and restarted the setup, once it got past the wifi connection, it asked for BB ID username and password. i typed in my work BB ID credentials and right away it prompts in red to enter BB ID username/password that originally setup the device.

I typed in my usual BB ID credentials and BOOM, it worked.

Otherwise, I couldn't do anything to the phone.

Anyone has any questions or test request to do with this? I can do it on my test Z30.

    Cheers

I have a used Z30 here at my work... the employee who previously had the phone was let go and they must have setup the anti-theft on their phone... Are we SOL here with this device? We can't reach the employee to try and get their BB ID any longer.

I've been dealing with Blackberry support on two we have at work that are no longer usable because of this and I've just heard back from them that they have to be sent back to Blackberry to make them usable.
