Yes, Blend is awesome. As often happens, because it was created during the prior CEO's tenure Chen did not give it any attention or marketing support.

The reason behind the necessity of Blend on BB10 was only because of missing functionality in the OS/ecosystem.

Android already has desktop and Web clients for WhatsApp, Telegram, and SMS. Android can also transfer and/or sync files effortlessly over the air.

So no real need for BlackBerry to develop Blend equivalent for Android? I never used Blend, however, I see it mentioned by so many on here.

Just close the BB10 forum so there can be no more false hope. Let's face it, we create the hope....

lol. The forums are still there for legacy devices and the playbook. Neither those nor this forum section will be closed.

Care to rephrase this in a way that makes some kind of sense?
Take away the word "do" and you'll get what he means.

Didn't even know something like this existed for Android, although it's not surprising.

Microsoft Connect in Windows 10 mirrors your device, it is not implemented the same way as Blend (more like remote desktop). I can't speak for other third-party applications however Pushbullet doesn't quite fill the void of Blend but does have other useful functionality (See BlackBullet in BlackBerry World).
