I have a STL100-1 and my device has the false battery indicator. For instance, it would switch off at 15% or it can't be fully charged to 100%. Thinking to buy Battery Guru for actual battery reading, should I?

    Worth the price?

    How much is it now?

I would strongly recommend against getting due to the fact that half of the features are unimplemented and have been 'coming soon' for the last 6 months. Development on the app is clearly dead and I wouldn't waste my $$ on it. It also needs to have the active frame open at all times to function which makes it pretty much useless.

In my opinion it's definitely worth it. Battery guru gives you current power consumption, battery level, battery health, time to empty/time till charged, and battery temp. When left as an active frame, most of these values are plotted on a line graph to give you a record of how your battery is performing. It's $0.99.

Yep. Check out BaSA (Battery and Systems Analyzer). It's free on BlackBerry World right now, although there are "plasters" that cover certain parts of the application that are removed if you do an in-app upgrade ($1 or equivalent).

However, it is currently in beta, so a couple parts of it are still under development, though it is almost complete. The developer has been very actively improving it and takes the time to respond and act on user's suggestions. I'm not sure if this is what you want, but it blows Battery Guru out of the water. It tracks more than battery, but also network, CPU, and memory too. It might be a little more advanced than you need, but it does have an excellent partially customisable Active Frame.

Oh, and I believe the price is supposed to go to $2.00 when it leaves beta.

You could sideload the sys.sysmon.bar from the 10.2.1.725 leak for free. It tells you how much juice each app is using. You'll need to be running something greater than 10.1.

Battery guru is good but they haven't updated for a long time and it won't recognize the power being plugged in on all the 10.2 leaks. Regardless, I still use it everyday.
