The data in Device Monitor makes no sense. Something must be corrupt in that file as the percentages are substantially higher than 100% in aggregate and the data "since last charge" shows multiple days even though I charge to 100% each night. Any ideas?

Great, I will use Sachesi to drop that file into the OS. I assume it will overwrite the one that is there already.

Looking at the graph the numbers make perfect sense. Since Tuesday you've recharged and had 100% battery 3 times. What doesn't make sense is that you have it set to "Since last charge" and it's showing multiple recharges.

I agree that showing multiple charges "since last charge" makes no sense, but having battery consumption at 157% on just the items that are at the top of the list makes no sense. Also, these numbers should be either instantaneous percentages or averages for the time period indicated, but they appear to be the maximum seen in each category during some arbitrary/undefined time frame.

It's not arbitrary or undefined, it clearly shows battery consumption from Tuesday to Friday. 157% of 300% make absolutely perfect sense when looked at from the total graph point of view.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is why your device monitor is displaying multiple charges when clearly set to display "since last charge". Nothing else is strange about the numbers or the graph or the totals.

Since the report is clearly not what is listed, I don't think it is safe to assume it represents 300% or 3 charging cycles. I looked at the 48 hour report, which represents 2 charging cycles, and the data is significantly different. Anyway, I reinstalled sys.sysmon and now the report only shows from when the phone was connected via USB during the update. The 12, 24, and 48 hours intervals look reasonable.

So, as of this afternoon, the 24 hour and 48 hour graphs are fine. The 12 hour only shows back to when I turned the phone on this morning (6 hours ago) and the "since last charge" graph shows the last 21 hours (the last charge was during the period of 6 to 16 hours ago). Some other .bar file or data file must be hosed over.

Try taking out your battery, leave it out around 3-5 minutes and put it back. Let's see how it goes after doing that.

Maybe you should look at the entire thread. I started it about an issue with sys.sysmon in the previous OS. It went away when I installed the leak and then came back...so, this isn't an OS specific issue. I was looking for help on what would cause sys.sysmon or the data it uses to get stepped on.

Yeah, it seems it's only happened after more than 24hrs usage duration. How about this, sideload the sysmon.bar again, reboot your phone and try not to turn off your phone for at least for 2 days after that, and let's see how it goes.

Sorry if this didn't sound technical.

Well, the problem is I would have to use an older version of sys.sysmon as 3175 is an autoloader only (no separate .bar files). Not sure if downgrading a sys.xxx file is a good idea.

Thanks. Can you let me know if the file was extracted from the autoloader using Sachesi (or equivalent) and comes from the "apps" folder? Just want to make sure what I am installing.

The issue I have is that my device monitor is just blank. The only thing that works is that last tab which is storage. Anyone else have this?

Confirmed, extracted from autoloader STL100-234 using Darcy's tool (I used Darcy because it shows the app version) and comes from apps folder. File name: sys.sysmon-10.2.1.9.bar

I'm sorry but I have no clue what you are trying to point out. The issue is solely a display issue. The drop down doesn't match the data in the graph. The battery in the phone charges correctly and holds a charge for a reasonable period.

I installed sys.sysmon and the display is correct again. I will leave the phone on for the next 2 days (charging as needed) and let you know if that works.

EDIT: 24 hours without turning off phone and Device Monitor is still displaying correct data. When I put the phone on the wall or USB charger, it does reset the data to that point in time as expected.

48 hours and still giving the correct data. Tonight I will give it the real test and actually turn off the phone.

Ran the phone for over 2 days without turning it off (charged overnight) and as soon as I turned the phone off, it lost the ability to know when the last charge took place.
