    To confirm categorically, unless you are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), balance is not functional.

    I would like to see an updated version that would allow two non-BES profiles, perhaps with a second SIM; two phones in one.

    That would make you a BYOD business user.


    Using the term consumer in this case implies someone that does not have BES.

    What about a small business owner/operators? Would be nice to have access to it just as a separate non BES configureable feature. As a small merchant taking payments via something like Square or through NFC, Balance would be a nice thing to have. I suppose BB10 is still fresh but I'd hope BB brings this or something similar.
