    I was wondering if contacts are backed up as application data or settings because I am wanting to restore just my contact from my older backups

    I went through this yesterday with the wife's Z10. Restoring just Application Data did the trick.

    I then went to BlackBerry World and loaded Fire Chest Backup. Much easier and no worries about it causing phone issues.
