AVG android for blackberry

Hey guys.

Quick question. If I install avg apk will it really protect my device the way a blackberry antivirus would? Also do we need an antivirus for blackberry passport?

There are no known viruses for BB10. AVG would try and keep the android part of your phone free of threats.

Android apps can't touch the BB10 portion.

But still, Skype can add contacts to our Contacts app and a whole lot of other things that seem to indicate there may be more to this...

Yes & that's why Skype had to work with BlackBerry to get it's app to work "properly"
