I reverted last time I tried 10.3.1 to stock OS due to functions not working, I need all functions, SlimPort (both HDMI and VGA usually to test monitors or TVs), USB2Go (for reading and writing to a memory card or stick via the USB port directly), WiFi Hotspot, NFC, Tethering not so much, WiFi really working on the phone, and Bluetooth. I do a lot of troubleshooting with my phone and with the stock OS all works perfect. If this version doesn't deliver all functionality then I'll stick with my current OS until 10.3.1.xxxx has them. If anyone can confirm the above to be working please let me know, then I'll jump to this leak.

I can tell you that Hot Spot works, Wifi works and Bluetooth works great too on this OS 10.3.1.2072...well it does on my PassPort.

Sideloading doesn't work. When I connect it with DDBB installer it gives error of JAVA

Does anyone encounter this issue???

I loaded this OS onto my Passport yesterday and totally loving it. One feature I love on this new build... when there is a notification on the screen (ex. it will say- to access more symbols swipe down on keyboard) my keyboard will start to flash alerting to the screen. I thought that was a nice. It seem clean, smooth, no flickering on videos. So far I am really loving this OS. Also, sideloading was not an issue for me, I was able load Snap without any issues (I added it using the google chrome add-on).

I also can not sideload, tried both the Chrome plugin and Sachesi 2.0 on Mac.

Sideloading has to be one bar at a time for me, using latest Sachesi. Otherwise the install flickers and oscillates around 50%.

EDIT: I just found out the problem might be that I was installing apps from BlackBerry World and sideloading BARs at the same time. After a reboot and waiting till the BBW apps download and install I retried with Sachesi and it worked fine.

No, that's what I used to install Snap

I went back to stock around 10AM this morning and it's back to normal and NO flickering. I hate giving up the new features in 10.3.1, but the screen flickering issue needs to be resolved ASAP. Hopefully the official 10.3.1 build fixes it?

Has anyone done the non destructive update to 10.3.1.1154 on a passport and NOT had any screen flickering issues? I am just curious because that might be my next option or just wait for the official OTA update.

Work perfectly for me 'if' no flicking issue occurs in 'some' times.

I've had this on my Passport nearing 24 hours and it has been great so far. Been doing a lot of driving around SC and the radio seems better on this one as well. Haven't seen any flickering as of now. Battery life also seems to be a bit better but it's a bit early on that. Liking this build myself!

Yes! Big time on contacts and even my alarm. Since holding down power until reboot I've yet to experience a flicker.

Is there a link to the bar files that came with this leak? I was having problems with the clock app not opening and tried the one from the 1949, and stil get the same problem. Want to grab the bar file for the new leak and put back on.

What are you guys cussing about when you use leaks expect bugs I am still on 3.0.908 no flickering camera works fine, my Z10 is on 3.1.1154 if you do not want to be inconvenienced get a second phone for leaks, or stop complaining.

Thanks. Does anybody can confirm USB2Go and SlimPort working. I had a situation with a client that he went out of the country and needed some data he left at his home, some 450Mb of data. I went to pick up his usb stick, his wife gave it to me, I copied the data to my Passport directly from the usb port (with an adapter) and gave the usb stick back to his wife, just took me couple of minutes. Then configure his cloud storage via PlayCloud app, and copied all his data to the cloud while driving home. This is an example of how important the USB2Go thing is for me. By the way I got paid for that and don't even need a laptop. Actually I haven't use my laptop much since I got my Passport. The SlimPort need it for testing displays.

I've noticed only a wee bit of flicker once after installing the OS, definitely a lot better than on the previous one. So far everything works, but I found out BBM audio calls stopped working, I can only use video calls, which is weird. It worked fine before.

I just talk to my son who is serving in the Middle East via BBM audio. He sounded like he was standing next to me. He has a Z10. Seem to be working good.
