Not sure about DropBox but Box gives you 50 GB free space (instead of 2 GB from DB) and has the option to sync your media files automatically in the settings.

If you sideload the Android version of Dropbox found on the goodereader website, found here... Dropbox for Playbook and BB10 - Blackberry Playbook and BB10 Android Apps | Android APPS - BB10 Apps & Playbook Apps.. you can enable the automatic upload of camera pics/videos.

Dropbox on BB10 doesn't support auto uploads yet (we're told it's coming). For now you can use Box as that does automatically upload.

DropBox and Box will both automatically upload to your account if you tell it to do it in the settings.

Auto upload does not work for. I read somewhere that if photos are automatically saved to SD card then auto upload does not work. Has anyone been able to get it to work with an SD card?

I am using Box for auto upload, and it is working with me saving pics to my SD card. There is, however a bit of a lag when you want to review the pics you just took, I assume due to the upload process.

Once you have signed into your Dropbox account you can access it from the file manager. You can copy and paste files access them and what ever else. If you pin a folder in Dropbox it syncs the files in that folder to your device locally so you can access them offline.

And I have my pictures saved to my SD card automatically backing up to my Dropbox account.

Videos go to BOX gotta use those 50gb some how.

Box is crappy. It only allows syncing of video less than 250MB size, any bigger than that then you need to pay monthly.

Dropbox is better although at the moment the autosync feature is not built in with BB10 out of the box. Interesting re. pinning the folder in Dropbox, will give it a go.

By the way, I just tried pinning a folder in dropbox, but where do you find the pinned folder on the device? Searching through the device memory and memory card yields nothing. Is the pinning actually working?

I would love to know that also, is there a way, to sync my local folder on Q10 with Dropbox? To put something in it and have it automatically. I pinned the folder in Dropbox (which I accessed from Q10), but I dont have it anywhere on my phone. Can somebody suggest something?

Side load the android version of Dropbox. You need to be running 10.2.1.176 or later I believe.
In the initial setup, it gives you the option to upload automatically.
Seems to work for photos very well. I would only assume video will work as well.
