Set the EQ to airplane mode and that will max the volume. (assuming the passport has EQ)

That's a no go when streaming music. Maybe MP3 but that's all.

I agree, that would be helpful.
The eq is not in the chain when streaming?

With the players I use, the Passports EQ has no effect on them.

Had or have the same issue.
But in addition to that, I would assume audio out should be a little louder when using auxiliary chord to an amplified head unit.

Any decent headunit should have a line-in adjustment. If you're using the stock headunit from your car it probably doesn't though...
Also, streaming from android apps always seems to be lower volume than from the music app. I found It quite loud from the music app.

Agree music app is much louder.
But streaming apps don't use the EQ like the music app does. So pretty much stuck with the max volume of line out.

That's why I purchased a male to male 3.5 mm cord with Mic.

    UPDATE
I got the cord today. Plugged them in and now the volume is controlled by headset out

Only thing is I don't see volume boost in my settings.

Tried plugging in a set of headphones by Samsung. And had the same thing. Headset out volume with no audio boost.

Going to try my BlackBerry headphones tomorrow to see if audio boost will return. If not, than OS reload. And try again.

    Update!!!
The chord works as I thought.
Audio boost now works with auxiliary chord.

    To sweet!
