Assistant results in Chinese. Why?

Hello

I tried using assistant for the first time today. I entered from my home screen a search for 'space x landing' with a view for assistant to go off and grab some details for me.

The results I got back were all in Chinese.

When I look at the search options there is an item in the list that looks like an animal paw print with chinese lettering under it, I'm assuming this is causing the issue. Can anyone advise what it is or how I disable / delete it please? Thanks

Try long press the icon in question to see if an additional menu pops up or it becomes deletable.

Nope tried both of those. English is the language chosen and long press does nothing. Very weird. Lol.

Check your browser and see what the default search engine is. The paw print is Baidu, a Chinese search engine. It might be set as your default.
