Who cares. Let all the apps leave. Personally, apps ain't gonna dictate my decision to get a device. As long as I can call Bout and receive calls I'm good. It's only apps.

BMO will be gone very shortly as well. Right now, the android and the BB10 app are basically identical. But they're putting out a new app and the BB10 version will no longer function.
May not dictate your decision but you are in the vast vast minority. Most people use apps. Heck I had to go to BlackBerry android because work related apps weren't available. So great I could make calls but not perform many other things required for my job. Banking is also important to a lot of people when mobile.
As for apps, just an FYI, most thing you use on your phone currently are actually apps just some of them were pre-loaded for you.
I have looked at the motion. It looks pretty decent. My next question would be about BB andriod so I'll look on another thread for that. I need my banking app as a daily use, news apps are secondary. However, lack of support for the BB10 code is the real deal breaker. I hate that I have to leave, but without updated code I might just as well go back to a flip phone. What am I do do with my BB tattoo now?

Avoid 1mobile like the plague, it's malware-infested. Try apkmirror instead.
I have downloaded , installed and tried the Android versions of CTV and RBC from the PlayStore and they just work fine on my Passport SE. So where is the problem?

The android emulator, does it require updating as android versions change?

NO. It is forever stuck at 4.3, and it's not a true Android 4.3; there are limitations, which is partially why not every Android app works.
Don't even ask if there is a way to update, there isn't - legalities.

Seems like the Amazon app store is gone too. I keep getting error messages from the the Amazon app but I cannot delete and resinstall it. SMH
Download Ghost Commander from BB World and uninstall the Amazon apps from there, after that just restart your device.
Alternatively, enable parental controls from Settings and disable the Amazon apps, after a minute or so disable parental controls and the OS will reinstall the apps.
