Does anyone know why some apps such as Apollo and Adobe Reader don't show up in application permissions?

Are these side-loaded apps, or? Maybe after installing, restart the device and see if they show then...

They require no special permissions at all to run. There are none to access.

    Thanks

Apollo is using data, so I was just wondering why I don't have the option to deny it permission if I didn't want it to use data for some reason. I like the options we had in the older OS, it had a lot more control.
