I have just gone through my existing apps and about 70% of them dont run after the latest software update and are incompatible. Chain dots for example
Problem is that because most of those bigger developers have abandoned blackberry, it is unlikely that they will be ever made compatible.
there are some apps that don't work with 10.3.1 that is true. Sad but true.
Adobe AIR was removed from the Platform. I find it very hard to believe 70% of your app base was AIR.
You can always email the devs and kindly ask them to update the app.
Quite a few were games. Perhaps they use AIR more?
If they are Adobe Air products then they are dead in the water. Have to find other games to play.
My daughter will be disappointed. I guess I'll carry a separate device with a different os for games for her.
You could get her a book ;)

She has lots of books and is an avid reader. I just don't carry them everywhere with me.
I assume your comment had the intent to degrade somewhat....
Get her a Kindle or even better, get her a tablet with the Kindle app.
All the games + all the books and still under 600g.
