Hi all,

We had a post written about this a while back: Apollo serves up Pandora's streaming music to your BlackBerry PlayBook | CrackBerry.com. That was for the Playbook, and now we're back with our BB10 version. It probably will not make it to the Q10 because of how small the screen is (you can only fit so much on one screen :P), but we'll see as demand happens.

I attached some screenshots to kinda show off what we've done, but there's one kicker for users who already have it downloaded on their device: Due to some issues, we won't be able to release it as an update, so you'll have to re-download it as a new app(all your information will still be there, you just need to login again). We'll be pulling the current version that was originally intended for the Playbook from the Blackberry 10 download store. That version will stay for the Playbook, and this new version will be available soon(?).


For any more information, our website is JMTK Application Development, you can go to Applications > Apollo and we'll list the download link for Blackberry 10 as soon as it is available there.

Awesome app, but just a one issue:

Lower the volume for Bluetooth Audio, I have turned the volume all the way down and the music is still blaring and cracks. I'm using a LG HBS-730 stereo headset

As far as I'm concerned, remove what you need to get it to fit on Q10. I knew that I'd sacrifice a few apps by getting Q10, but I figured the apps would be gaming apps, which I can get on my Nexus 7.

I walk every day for about an hour and use this app to listen to music while walking, since getting the BB Z10 I download this app and it does work but there are a few times where it stops playing a song in the middle and just sits there. I have to close the app then reopen it and it works fine. It isn't a show stopper but just a pain. Had a Torch 9800 before with a Pandora app and it worked flawless even when cell signal was iffy... Just not sure why this app just stops and it is very random as to when, sometimes it only stops once sometimes it is every other song.. I am not moving between cell towers so I don't think that is the issue... Any ideas???

I feel like it hasn't been updated since the Z30 came out. So it may not be available until the dev configures a new release.

I use Apollo regularly on my Z10. Glad to hear it is still getting some attention. I so occasionally have an issue of it suddenly playing 2 songs at once, but restarting the app gets it going right again. Thanks for the continued work!

Is the playbook version dead? Tried it last night, didn't work.

This app was working great on my Playbook even as late as 6 Dec2014. Played steady without glitch. Then, next time started the whole quitting just short of finishing the song, for every song. Would totally hang up. I emailed the developer - no response yet. Does anyone know the status. Defeated the app from my Playbook to reinstall, but get a download error and can't reinstall. Obviously it has been pulled. But Dev....please restore this app - nothing comes close to this! Truly if needed I would pay for this app!
