Telstra have just put out an update, looks like they're completely blowing out the timeframe, which is completely unacceptable.

    Handset Software Updates - 28/01/2014 - Telstra Crowdsupport - 239581

After re-reading this post on the crowd support page, I'm not sure about its bona fides having regard to the poster, so it may still be an early March planned release from Telstra.

I'm on the leak already but I got an 8mb update pushed out.
I'm not on wifi so I don't wanna download it yet though.

Anyone received the 10.2 update on Telstra-img_20140128_220346.png

Does anybody know how to download the updated OS via a Vodafone or Optus Sim? Will a prepaid sim do the trick?

BigBear6925, I'm on Optus but when I updated to 10.2.1 last night, it was using my $2- Prepaid Vodafone SIM card used for the previous 10.2.0.429 update. I have the SIM activated but it has no credit. It works fine Just popped it in and checked for Software updates.

I'm probably going to pinch an Optus SIM from a work colleague to run the update.
I know the update will run fine etc, but is there going to be any difference between an Optus pushed update and Telstra pushed update? I just don't want Optus bloatware or any other crap on my phone.

I downloaded the latest update via an Optus prepared sim two days ago. Downloaded easily and like normal updates it takes a day or two for the system to stabilise, but all in all was quick clean and the new update is sensational.

Yep the post was deleted as it wasn't a Telstra post just someone being funny about how all the dates slip with Telstra. I thought it was legit at first too. Still 10/3 for the Official Telstra blessed update is BS. Everyone I know that's on Telstra with BB10 device has a unactivated $2 Vodafone SIM so they get the official updates via WiFi in a timely manner and without the Telstra bloatware that doesn't work if you have a WiFi connection. WTF is with that?

I don't mind the Telstra One app. It gives good access to your account details and actually supports active frames and will show your data usage when minimised.

The delay in approving 10.2.1 may have something to do with Telstra's Blue Tick approval for the Z10.
