Not me. I've had some version of 10.3.1 on my Z10 since last October, but my data usage is a steady 1 to 1.5 GB a month. Pretty much what I've been getting since I got this thing over a year and a half ago.

I did peak just over 2 GB in January, but that's because my 5-year-old watched Pokmon episodes on Netflix with my phone while we were doing big grocery shopping one day that month - no Wi-Fi available at the time.

I'm not seeing any noticeable increase with my data usage on my Z10 or Q10 since upgrading to OS 10.3. My data usage is pretty much the same as OS 10.2.

Is it possible that you spend more time using your phone because 10.3.1 is so much better?

Data consumption hasn't changed for me at all.

Sometimes I wonder if people just want to complain about everything 10.3.1?

    I'm loving 10.3.1.

Yep...I always find it interesting how some complain about the updates.

Yes there were a few glitches with the last update...the low volume on notifications was an issue for me. But all is good now.

    Like you I'm loving OS 10.3.1 on my Q10 and Z10... :-)

Actually a have a massive increase of data Usage. Over 600 MB in 48 hours. All used by the system. how can I analyze what part of the system uses so much data?

Anyone noticed data consumption on z10 after uploading 10.3.1.2 is more than 10.2.1-img_20150325_112207.png

All those who have now massive data consumption check the setting for automatic updates. Mine was OFF before and ON after the update. If this option is ON you can't control anymore what your device does in background. - Apart from this there's no measurable difference between 10.2.1 and 10.3.1.

Good point and another thing to do is open BBVE, open device monitor then mobile data. Here you can see what's responsible for data usage.

I know there have been reports of battery drain due Blend or DropBox/Box/Onedrive running in the background - maybe one of these could be the culprit for increased data as well? (I doubt it's Blend)

Taskmanager is also a very good app to keep a watch on what's happening in the background but for some reason I'm not finding it in BlackBerry World.

I had a major issue with "payment options" running my data usage through the roof sometime around October last year. Only way to fix was to do a wipe and reload of OS.

System has used over 5gb of data starting on March 21. OS 10.3.1.2558 Z30 STA100-5. No idea what is behind this data usage. Good thing I have unlimited data. But this is crazy.

To those who have much data traffic: (if you have the possibility) switch to wifi for a day and configure your wifi router to protocol all access to the net directly on the router. The router is the bottle neck where everything goes through. Then analyze the protocol. You can get at least all the HTTP and FTP requests, you will see the involved servers and will get a hint. Perhaps you find also the amounts of data related to servers, this depends on your router.

    Huge increase in data consumption.
Wouldnt even get close to 1 GB a month.
With the update, 400 MB in 6 days.

Yea I've noticed this too. I have increased usage of the device with data a little, but very insignificant in contrast to the data usage increase. I tend not to watch videos on data either so don't know. Doesn't exceed my usual by much though, but still enough to get me to limit my use as I'm on a share plan.
