Got the 17 mb update and I can swear my battery life and network significantly got better. Pls tell me someone else is experiencing this

Just got the update last night, but still no improvement off the battery or network, thinking of getting charger bundle for my Z10, with a little use it won't last through all day unfortunately.

This update has definitely brought the best ever battery life to my Z10 STL-1. It gives me almost 3 days with both Bluetooth and Wireless ON before recharge. This is almost equivalent to that of my good old 9780 which I think has one of the best records in battery life. Generally, I would rate this update as giving the best overall performance since the initial 10.2 release. However, I'm anxiously awaiting the highly anticipated offerings of 10.3 either as a good leak or the official release but I'm not too eager to load the unfinished SDK just yet unless I get tempted beyond patience.

Day 2 for me with 10.2.1.3247 on my Z10STL100-1, used the autoloader, not the software update, had my phone turning off at 43% charge day one, but ever since then, been smooth, plus it seems to have solved my problem of not being to open apps randomly and losing all internet connectivity (BBM cannot connect to Server), but probably too soon to tell! Official 10.3 should drop soon!!

Already posted it in the findings and fixes thread for this OS! I'm experiencing horrible battery life on my STL 100-2 after the OTA update!
Switching batteries !twice! a day! It also gets hot and laggy sometimes!

Did a backup yesterday, deleted everything to the ground and restored now!
I'm waiting another day to let everything settle down a little bit, but no significant improvement noticeable at the moment!

Without any real use handset loosing circa. 50% within first 5 hours.

I think PIM services are cause plus system and standby drainage

Yes yes and yes!
I did otherwise. Downgraded from 10.3 to 10.2.1.3175 with autoloader, secure wiped, sideloaded latest release core os only, security wiped again. Sideloaded 10.3.0.700 bars, which works on 2, rebooted. Couple days system was stressed (cashing etc) , but afterwards I have latest bars available with REALLY REALLY better battery life. Having 8 hrs+ with 3g, blue tooth along. Before that car charger was my best friend, now z10 lasts whole working day. Huge improvement. And yes, stl2.
Another question. Is it possible to have root permission for android file browser. Need to edit one xml file from app's library, but can't do that because of lack of permissions. Hopping to do that if someone could suggest how to.

I get about 2 days with my Z30 after update. Facebook, Twitter, Igrann always are open. Plus BBM and Whats App and calling. Good update
