My car's deck has BT/Handsfree but sometimes I have my window down and don't want the whole street hearing my convo. I got a Bluetooth headset from work today. Thought I'd try something...

    Anyone else know about this?-img_20160721_193819.png

Both car + ear piece connected

    Anyone else know about this?-img_20160721_193738.png

Separate modes. I can play my music through the car audio

Plus receive calls through the headset!!

What is your point, that listening to music is distracting or talking on the phone using a headset is distracting? Do you speak to (and glance at) your passengers while driving.

I consider myself a lot better than most drivers on the road. I'm sure you listen to music in Ur car.

If I'm reading it correctly... the blackberry can connect to 2 bt devices at the same time??

That I didn't know and very convenient if you're using the car bt and something else...

The feature is awesome but to be honest, many phones can be connected to two devices at the same time... for instance, the phone connected to my smart watch and a BT headset/headphone, or the phone with the car and the smartwatch...

I think what the OP wants to say is that BlackBerry 10 can connect with 2 audio bluetooth devices and you can use different audio output on both audio devices. It's more like a privacy thing.

    Exactly.

I do the same thing. I have a Kenwood receiver in a car that does
both handsfree and Audio. You can selectively check access to all, either or none.
Which is great when you have multiple devices that you want to selectively choose
    what gets what.

Not just two devices. Most phones can do that as others say. But Like my man Dan said above, it's the ability to selectively dedicate audio and Handsfree outputs to them. Idk too many phones that can do that.
