So, the Music app indexes all music/media files found on your device and SD card. The problem I have is it also indexed some temporary app files.
The files no longer exist, but can not be removed manually from the Music app.

I now placed a '.nomedia' file in most of my app folders (like device/misc and voice) to make sure those are no longer indexed in the future.

My remaining question is: is there any way to force the Music app to re-start the index?

If they're on your SD card just pull it out and put it back in, forces re-index. Not sure about internal memory though.

Thanks, it is caused by some remaining app files, they were all in the device/misc folder.

Tried reloading sys.airtunes/musicplayer that did not work out.
Guess I will just reload the entire OS when official 10.2.1 hits.
