    Sideload this: https://app.box.com/s/c95snqrwu72h01tpm9a2

Works with YouTube videos only, but works well. Seems like the dev has given up support. I tried contacting them months ago but to no avail. They don't reply.

I dont know any way directly from the browser if you want the video (tho im sure it does exist you could try googling it). But theres an app called itube (android) that you could download through snap/apktrain/any other android market client or sideload it if your not on OS 10.2.1

Edit: meant Tubemate (Itube is an ios app)

You are completely right! Disregard, OP.

There's still a lot of other sites that do not require java if you Google "download YouTube".

You can copy the link and add it in youtube-mp3.org and it'll convert it and save it to your phone or SD card. Everything is doing in the browser, no apps or anything.

CacheTube in BlackBerry World works well for me if you just want to be able to view them offline and don't mind the $1.99 price.

Let me tell you guys how to do it. If it works for you, pls join my channel.
Select the YouTube video you want to watch.
    Don't press play.
    Edit the url this way.
Example if this is the url:

Remove all the characters behind the "youtube"
And add "ss" to the front.
    It will look like this:
    ssyoutube.com/watch?v=4ThvBNZdGcQ
    A site will open.
Wait for it to load. Then just choose the format you want on the far right of the site. (I usually choose MP4 360)
    Voila!

Try this one. Based on his post from a thread here on crackberry, this can download videos from YouTube.

Check out Quicky in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/52792888
