I would not want my ISP to keep a tab on my activities. Nor I have faith in a huge number of websites that any link may take me.
Orbot seems not to work.
What is the alternative available?

Google bb10 and vpn.
Don't use pptp. It can be cracked.
My ISP doesn't give a crap about me, but then again, I'm not in China.

I'm looking specific suggestions, from users those who are using it for a while. Thanks for your reply anyway
There are old threads on bb10 VPN. This was one suggested in one of the old threads.

I'm not really sure if starting a new thread on VPNs will be useful.

I followed these steps on this link until I got to the bit that referred to "the Super VPN SSL. Certificates we sent you previously".
What does this refer to? And how do I get them, whatever they are?
Simple, just use opera mini. The proxy is the opera server
Symbian is still and always my favourite Os. Nokia 808. FilePLAY Music Player
Try Tor Browser. You can get it from Snap. Install the first two apps as attached.

Sorry, Tor doesn't work

Whilst this is probably not suitable for most, I have MDS (part of BES) route all traffic through Tor, running on the BES server. Additionally some header information is stripped, etc.
When it comes to VPN on BB10, there are limited protocols supported, mostly because of security. The most popular of the supported protocols is IKEv2. I would recommend Witopia since it has more IKEv2 servers than any other VPN service. I use Purevpn myself, which only has three IKEv2 servers, so I would recommend going for Witopia.

I know someone who set up the Amazon cloud services as a VPN. More work, but more control.
How long have we been complaining that there is no OpenVPN on bb10?

Supposedly you can get this service for a year for free.
