That runtime is probably too dangerous to run if it has full, low-level access to the OS, unless it's an abstraction layer, in which case not all apps would work because not all QNX APIs are available to Android.

When they update the runtime, it doesn't mean all apps will work. BlackBerry will still disable Google accounts, keyboards, some native lines of code will be excluded, etc. The SDK version will be bumped and some of the new UI framework will be added.

Z10 - no, I didn't want to do it to my day yo day phone phone. If you have a spare alpha you probably could.

Anyone can. Sacha firmware upgrade, patch os2 release for hw Id if using bb10, dingle berry and patience.

But it's highly recommended against.

For clarity I'm talking about old root prebb10 discoveries.

Regardless it runs old Netflix apps etc. Google apps - yes. Other apps I'm not familiar with - sorry! But give it a spin. You don't need bb10 to verify this. Root a pb.
