    The current setup doesn't mandate alpha numeric. The complaining comes from the full keyboard shows up even if you only use numbers right now. Not a problem for me but some just want a number keypad.

    Yes.

    It will be like any other OS update, just not that many features. It's more about fixing problems.

    I have what one would consider slender hands and fingers and I have a lot of difficulty tapping the right key when entering my password. So I can only imagine how difficult it must be for those with larger hands.

    This is definitely a step in the right direction IMHO. A user's interaction with a phone, especially a frequently used one like unlocking, is something consumers will look at when making a purchase decision. And I'm sure the current method is a big turn off for many who don't have high security needs.

    Now a pattern unlock system would be the ultimate.
