    So I dont get what "easy lock password" means? does that mean we can use a pin and just a number pad to unlock the phone?

    This is what I was wondering as well, I think that is what it means!
    I also haven't seen this posted, so here goes, another thing coming in the 10.1 summer update!

    yes easy lock password will probably be a 4-6 digit password vs the alphanumeric passwords we have now

    Since 10.2 should be coming late August, I really wonder how soon this update is coming...
    (and how late U.S carriers will release it)

    Well we should be seeing it roll out probably around end of July, I don't suspect 10.2 till mid sept, early Oct. As the 10.2 gold sdk is slated for mid august

    That is amazing, although I do hope we have the option for either because I know some people will say that having x number of digits for a password is not nearly as secure as using a word or a mix. But this is still super exciting Can't wait Thanks for the tip

    I doubt they will get rid of the regular password option, this is most likely an added feature.

    The ability to call from a text chain (or email!) is one of the things I miss most coming to BB10 from webOS. I'll be super glad when I can do that on my Z10.

    Did he use a filter on the password pic? (or am I just going crazy?)

    and 10.1 MR should be coming July/August with 10.2 closer to October/November. (I list two months because some places don't update as quickly...)

    There are 26 letters in the alphabet and only 10 numbers. I think the current setup combining both is easy as pie to use.

    So long as the existing setup is preserved, I'm okay with a less secure option for those who want it.

    Yeah ditto. No sense losing the secure keyboard method. But it would also be nice to have quicker, more convenient options.

    I am not an Android lover, but I do admire how many lock options come standard on Android OS's. Mainly the pattern lock feature.
    Hopefully once BlackBerry 10 becomes more mature in the future, we will see these added as well.
