What Im trying to get at is, its not Blackberry's fault ! We all knew this would happen someday. Then why buy the Device and complain?


I can live without Facebook and Whatsapp, Im using blackberry for its BB10, From a Z10 to a Z30 to 2 Passports, Finally settling with SE, If it wasn't for the SE passport and BB10, I would have been off this boat a long time.

It's not the end of the world. We can still use apps that are natively made for BlackBerry like Face 10 and others. Not all people around the globe uses whatsapp. And you have still to consider how powerful the browser of BlackBerry 10 wherein you can access Facebook in.

It still won't sync contacts and calendar. That was the best part about the app

As for Facebook, it was using an api that was pretty much abandoned by BlackBerry. These companies want to keep improving their products, why should they allow BlackBerry's lack of motivation hold them back?

We should try and understand being the CEO of a company isn't easy. We can play the blame game but we are only limited by the information we get from these companies ! BB10 was going to be very niche market from the start due to its app gap but in the end we can't blame blackberry for Facebook and whatsapp's lack of support.

BB10 is as advance as any other OS, in fact I think it is superior to other Operating systems out there, I don't understand when you say lack of motivation? Is motivation supposed to be released 2 or 3 devices every year? or frequent updates due to security flaw
