Sorry to revive an old thread but I think I have a moral duty to post a solution when I found one :-)

It is possible that users are facing 'limited connectivity' because of an IP address gateway address conflict. Your Router has a DHCP server and a local IP address series. So does the antenna on top of your house (in case of an RF connection) or your ISP (in case of a wired connection). If both DHCP servers have the same local ip series - which is usually 192.168.1.1 - our blackberries naively ping the first node - which is the local router.

Because of this, an ip address is not assigned by the antenna or the ISP which results in limited connectivity (connectivity only up to the router and no further).

Simply log on to your router and change the local series to anything - say 192.168.5.1 and voila! Your BB10 will now be assigned an IP address and you will have no problem connecting to the wifi.

At least this was my case I hope this helps someone :-)

    Cheers!

Wow, I haven't had this issue since 2014 I believe. But good to know there's a solution. This problem has cost me a lot of data back in the day.
