I'm posting in this forum because I'm not convinced that this is a problem with leaks.

I've been running WhatsApp since 10.1.2xxx. Back then WhatsApp push notifications worked flawlessly, i.e. even when the WhatsApp was closed, I'd receive a notification of a new message.

Then I upgraded to a 10.1.4xxx OS and push notifications stopped working. The only way I can receive messages is by opening the WhatsApp app and suddenly I'd get an influx of messages from hours ago.

Then I got the MR update and WhatsApp started working again beautifully. Great.

Then I upgraded to 10.2.1047 and WhatsApp pushing notifications stopped working. No-one else using this leak seems to have this problem.

    So, any ideas?

I'm have tried several reinstall, reboots and resets. Still broken.

It's almost like WhatsApp is unable to run in the background.

Its known problem (have it sometimes too)

I contacted support two months ago, they told me they know about it by its not fixed yet....

Only solution for now is to have app open all time
