I find android apps run very well on my Q10, they take a while to boot up, but once they're running performance is great. Shazam, Waze and Navigator are all acceptable.

Some apps don't work well with a screen, for those all BB10 needs to do is have an android runtime setting where you can specify which apps you want to force to a certain aspect ratio, essentially making a portion of the screen unusable by the app.

And that exact thing was introduced in 10.3.1 allowing a slew of apps to work much better now such as Netflix (force it to properly fit 16:9 and not stretch to 1:1), games, etc!

Still buggy in these leaks, but official should have great performance!

They do, just depends which version of outputting you are! Miracast works well I believe, and HDMI directly should be 16:9

Agreed. You can't blame BlackBerry for this they lost more money than you did. It is simple economics. Not always fair seeming.

BlackBerry can get investors for money they lost not you & me. That makes big difference.

Tried OS10.3 on Z10 and I find it speeds up the OS considerably and speeds Android apps as well. That said, android apps still have a lag when opening.

I was hoping for the same result, more apps are now compatible for me and more features are available in previously compatible apps however the load time of Android apps seems much much slower.
