Yesterday this started. The battery life has all of a sudden gone to hell and my phone is running hotter than normal.

I can reboot my phone. I even did a battery pull this morning.

On a clean reboot, my Android Player is eating about 15% of the CPU. has anyone seen this?

Also, I noticed my "The Weather Channel" app which was not sued since reboot was eating CPU cycles. So, I deleted it. Why on earth is this running (It's an Android app) on a clean reboot? Do Android apps that run headless in Android run headless in BB10 by default? And if so, how do I find out which ones? Security settings where I can disable functionality?

    Any guidance is appreciated.

android apps run constantly. If you suspect one of running and making your phone hot, delete it and see what happens.

Android apps can run automatically on boot. I use Autostarts to detect them https://f-droid.org/repository/brows...d.autostartsdd

Deleted The Weather Channel app and it is better now. I am blown away that this just started yesterday. It's been installed for a while now.
