There is a Chinese phone Xiaomi mi4 that was sold with android as the os Xiaomi released a Windows 10 rom for it that customers could install to change the os if they pleased.

I think choice is great and let the market choose android BlackBerry or bb10 BlackBerry

Hmm, at the end of this, I was thinking. Doesn't an autoloader take about only 10 minutes to install an entire OS; both BlackBerry and android being roughly similar in size? What if the phone could run an autoloader from a startup selection from within itself, like you say on an initial boot?

Still, I'm thinking it has to all be from one OS. I can't see BlackBerry doing two. I'm trying to imagine how bb10 would live on. Maybe like how bbos in the end looked similar to PlayBook OS in the beginning to me but both different.

Does anyone here have used a TouchPad? I believe it has a "multi boot"function so that users can start their device in either web os or android. Maybe BlackBerry can make this kind of stuff?
