Has anyone seen any rumours that this may be available for devices like Z30, Passport etc?

This kind of change will clearly obliterate data on the device, but frankly I'd do it if the Android Hub allows me to put more notifications into it from other services than the limited number we have now: I'd personally find that more productive. I'd be happy to start again and make the upgrade, and I'd prefer to use the Passport form factor over the Priv / Venice any day of the week.

I'm guessing the Priv *shiver* is a testbed for Android for BlackBerry themselves also. If it does well, they will surely release more Android phones in different form factors (like an Android Passport 2, Android Classic 2 etc). It all rests on the Priv *shiver* for the future of devices

They could glue the keyboard on the Venice phone so that the keyboard can't slide out, and release that phone along side of Venice. Much quicker than spring 2016
    ;-)

I think they should, it would be sort of like launching a new (already existing) device

I hope so! Worst case would be a repeat of the PlayBook scenario where the whole line just gets dumped without any follow up support.

Surely they won't do that again...

It's not happening. BlackBerry is stating that it's due to BlackBerry 10 security features.

All touch Android phone does not make much sense on the extremely tough Android market. The niche market with different form factors makes sense.

There will be a data migration app built in to copy your data from bb10.

Also, you will have less services connected to the hub.

I'm a bit concerned that if I switch to the PRIV, that some of the apps I use on a daily basis (Think: poor memory needs Password Keeper, BB) will not migrate over and I will have to copy each and every one of my passwords to a new app. Anyone know what we might expect in the way of migrating our BB10 apps?
