Saw a video of Android (Lollipop) review and I was shocked to see lots and lots of features are same as we have in BBOS 10 and some of iOS.

Did you feel so? If yes, then please point out the similarities and differences.

Seeing as smartphone OS do the same thing.... Unless it is an absolute revelutionary feature never seen before... everything is copied from a conceptual [point of view... the Hub for example is not a new concept but more refined than other itterations..... Everything is in essence copied... Microsoft copied icons from Zerrox in the eighty's which was copied to the Mac and on an on to where it is today.....

Most everything that BB10 does was copied from someone, there is a lot of webOS in BB10....

Too be honest, if BB10 is going to be forced to use mainly Android Apps... BB10 needs to adopt a UI that more closely emulates the navigation in those apps.

Everyone copies from everyone else. I don't know why people get uptight about it. There are enough threads asking why BlackBerry don't have x,y or z that other platforms have.

BlackBerry is also copy others. I believe the Swipe UI was copied from Nokia's MeeGo (with changes :P). Nowadays people just copy each other. Deal with it

    nice view of it here.

    - swipe up to unlock..
    - swipe up for google now
and in general, the gesture implementation... which is obvious and should be there on touch screen phones..
having to press 'back' buttons is weird. loved the swipe gestures implemented in bb10.. everyone should follow.

Some is but I wouldn't say a lot. Lock screen notifications and swipe up to unlock are new. There are similarities to BB 10. As has been said all the operating systems share and take from one another and I can see BB 10 in lollipop.

Very nice OS running on a year old device. Animations are smooth and consistent. Very well done. Android has come a long way in the last 5 years.

I don't know, Lollipop looks like it borrows a lot from iOS 8. And it looks obnoxious. Color scheme, animations, wow. Just way too much going on, and nothing is simple and to the point. ADD phone.

Not a bad thought. It's going to happen no matter what. Why not look at it in a positive light.

That round end button is straight out of iOS. I think UI is Apple, and UX and gestures are reminiscent of BB10.

But both iOS and BB10 are much cleaner and simpler in behavior. I can't imagine wanting to use an Android phone at this point.
