Hello together, I recently bought a Blackberry Z10, and I'm quite happy with it's operating system. But after downloading and using Spotify, I found out that sometimes the Android runtime just crashes, at least the part of it that renders the GUI. After it crashed, all Android apps just show a black screen (not even showing the bar with the back-button). If an app played sound (Spotify) it keeps on playing forever - all attempts to stop it don't work, closing the app just closes the black GUI.

Not even turning off the phone works: the shutdown screen appears, but it freezes forever, playing the music. Luckily, the Z10 has a removable battery.

I do not know if the bug has already been reported somewhere, I couldn't find anything on the Internet. My OS version is 10.3.2, I think that is the newest one.

Has anyone experienced similar behaviour? Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd be thankful if you shared the information you have with me.

10.3.2 isn't the newest version.... look in the settings and tell us what version you do have. There were some early 10.3.2 versions with different problems with the runtime crashing.

I'd use an Autoloader to install a later version of 10.3.2... or maybe even 10.3.3 (you can't go back and there are issues). Best to spend some time in the LEAKS/BETA section (most of those are official releases).

Okay, my version is, and the Update Manager says it's the newest one. What do you mean by an Autoloader? Is it a third-party software?

Well... It recently topped doing that. I don't click on notifications sent by Spotify anymore, maybe that helps...

I'm on the latest version, and experience the same problems with Spotify, Pandora, Google Maps, etc. I just live with it since primary functions of email, text, etc work so well in OS10.

Been Blitzing since Blitzing was invented, but maybe time for clean autoloader install.
