Everytime I open the "TaskManger" app, more times than less I see some Android apps open. They open automatically! I have to press the "X" on the top right corner to close them. I believe these apps are the culprit to my battery being ~ < 25% after 14 hours off the battery on my Z30.

It's Snapchat and a few others; I'm tempted at just using Snap2Chat, and forgoing the chat feature in SnapChat, but that's another story.

Is there a way to keep an Android app closed at all times until I open it myself?

    thx

Those apps are probably spying on you. Hopefully they don't have permissions to use your mic and camera!

You could try turning off notifications for the apps in android settings. It may work for some apps.

Use Ghost Commander and select applications and long press on the app. Select manage and unchecked the "show notifications" box.

Android apps restart themselves. Delete those troublesome ones.

I'd rather hope BlackBerry address this issue in 10.3.1 with much better control over android apps. I've seen the beginnings of it in the early builds.
