Is possible to use the android alarm app in BB10?
The native app would be awesome but it lacks of flashlight, has few tones and has no smart mode.

And the native nightly clock has plenty of features but is not multialarm

    What app are u using?
Where I can download good alarm tones?

Getting Android Apps to load and run in the background.... isn't all that reliable. So I used the built-in app.

You can use any mp3 as an alarm. I have a few different songs for mine

So you want the light to go off when the alarm does?

I can understand the need for a flashlight at night and not wanting to open the phone beyond Bedside Mode. But if you use an Android app for this, you'll need to open the phone. Flashlight is readily available in quick settings then.

That's what I was trying to understand. You can just swipe down and hit the flashlight button.

The purpose of using flashlight with an alarm is to light on the room slowly before the using the sound.

It does a softer wake up process, even sometimes you could get up before the alarm sound

BB10's alarm app is one of the reasons I stick with BB10. Its integration with bedside mode and the ability to move an alarm around the perimeter of a clock face make it way better than any Android app. Not to mention reliability--the most important part of any alarm. Stick with native built-in.

I can see why you'd want the light to wake you, kind of cool. But the default ascending BB10 alarm has always gently awakened me. There are spectrum lamp alarms on the market as well.

The alarm for BlackBerry can use mp3 for sound and in bedside mode the screen lights up anyway when the alarm goes off.

I was not using the bedside mode, I tried it and yes it is quite close to what I need

In fact I was too specific, saying ledlight because even the light of the screen is enough is enough in a dark room, after some min your body knows that something is coming

    For a perfect alarm I just need some ambient/relaxing tones,such as rainning,birds, frogs, waterfall,etc
