Since BlackBerry and CB like to promote Amazon I thought this would be a good place to put this, and I'm surprised CB didn't do an article on this.

Amazon has made a new way to get paid apps and free in game purchases for us on their dime. I don't know how they expect to make money from this, but it's free for us so yay. It's called Amazon Underground you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/an...UvbUpU11881214
It updates the Amazon Shop app, not the Amazon app store and you can download paid apps for free and they even give you in app credits to buy in app purchases for free. I've tried a few apps so far and each one gave me in app credits at start up.

The problem is that in order to get free apps you need to turn on data tracking. You're exchanging your privacy for free apps and in-app purchases... Thanks, but no thanks.

You're on a cell phone connected to the Internet your data is already being tracked and saved. Um I mean, you're right, your data is completely safe and nobody is tracking is you.

Every website tracks you anyways, or any computer. If it's connected to the net you're being watched..lol

I'm aware of that but I'm not doing it for free apps. This is why I sometimes think that I should move to a cave.

A cave would be the way to go. People can apparently hide in a cave system for 10 years and not be found by even the most sophisticated surveillance technology.

Locks can easily be picked/broken, does that mean we should not bother locking our front doors?

Not exactly the same thing. These websites, NSA or the other five eyes don't have backdoors or keys to my house. They do however trick us into believing we are safe from them online if we use locks on the Internet, locks they made keys for before we put them on our systems.

Is it safe to install build for BlackBerry apps from BB world? If not, then nothing is special in BB world than Play store.

Well since most of the apps in BBW are android ports I'd say no. The built for BlackBerry apps might be different, but most require the same kind of permissions. The only real difference is our BlackBerry's don't get viruses or malware from apps or other sources. Our phones and our data is still being tracked, no OS can prevent this if we take that OS online.

Well the App installed fine but.... Amazon claims free in app purchases like lives, and yet it says null until you order and than it wants to charge money on my account. Is there something I'm missing?

When you "purchase" something a screen should pop up asking you to agree or not to data tracking.
