BB 10.3.2 just arrived on my Z10. Now I have the Amazon Store, this POS app which is put on my home screen without my consent, is always active in the Android runtime and to top this off the app is not removable by users. Blackberry is taking some bad turns pure and only for short term financial gains.

Same applies for the Amazon App Store which can't be removed either, strange because I sideloaded that app myself. I sometimes use it but I prefer SNAP. The Amazon App Store is becoming more and more a store with fake and bad apps.

Including my thread on how to replace them with Amazon Underground, there have been a few that explain how to Deactivate these apps. They'll still be installed, but they won't ever Run/be Active.

Short story: Enable Parental Control, Disable Amazon apps (if you're fine with them being completely removed, stop here and leave P.Control enabled). Re-enable Amazon apps, Disable Parental control.
Now it should ask for Permission for these apps → Decline.
That way they won't ever take up any precious CPU/RAM.

Is there an alternate method to do this without needing Parental Control? Balance disables the Parental Control option.
